Annik 6

“Katani!” shouted Annik as she approached her. Katani spun around and gave a grin, which turned into a frown as she saw Annik’s expression.
“What is it? They haven’t found out, have they?”
“No, but it’s almost as bad.” Annik quickly explained their predicament.
“Oh man… how are we going to do this now?”
“We’re going have to get out earlier. You’ll have the best chances if you leave right after I do. The thing is, you’ll be in more of a risk of being discovered, but you just have to be careful. Now we have to go tell the others about this. And don’t leave anyone out!”
They ran all over the building, finding the other Puppets. Most of them looked worried, but just gave each other reassured looks. They promised to remind anyone else they see who might not have heard, which gave Annik some reassurance that her crazy plan actually might work. She spent the rest of her time searching for whomever she hasn’t told yet.
The clock struck 11:00 and she ran like all hell was at her heels back to the room. Just in time. As soon as she sat down, Drake opened up the door and told her they were leaving. Thanking her lucky stars she wasn’t caught or late, she walked towards the exit with the two men.
As Annik passed by the other Puppets, she gave them an encouraging smile and a wink. They smiled back, and Annik sighed in relief.
‘At least one thing is going right,’ she thought, and was greeted with the view of an elaborate coach. As the carriage door opened, she could see Kara sitting there, with a sickening smile carved on her face. Annik was seated right across from her, and the door slammed shut. Annik inched right into the corner trying to avoid attracting any attention. Too late.

Annik 5

Annik was up all night, too scared to close her eyes again. She didn’t want to dream again; didn’t want to remember that night. She was tired, which she knew might affect their plans, but she didn’t care at the moment.
She waited for the others to get up, and she didn’t have to wait long. When the clock struck 6, the other Puppets were out of bed so fast that Annik let out a startled yelp. As soon as the hustle-and-bustle settled down, they all faced towards Annik, eager for the plan to work.
“That was… quick,” Annik remarked, unsure of what to make of this.
“We’re supposed to be up and ready everyday at 6:00,” replied Katani. “If we don’t, well, you know…”
“I get the point. So here’s what you have to do. You guys act normal, and stay around the door area as much as possible. As soon as the clock rings 11:45, you exit through the door in groups, with one of each element. The last ones to leave should be the door keepers. Then, just get as far away as possible from this place. Got it?”

Annik 4

Yelling. Screaming. Shouts. Orders. They all overwhelmed Annik’s ears, making her shiver in terror. Her master, her beloved librarian, ushered her into the cellar and motioned for her to be quiet and stay there.
“You’ll be fine,” he whispered, stroking her head. Annik was sobbing, terrified about what might happen to him. “Don’t worry about me. But remember, whatever happens to me, don’t ever mention me to anyone else. Remember everything I taught you.”
And with that he left.
Annik wanted so hard to reach out, yell for him to come back. She knew what would happen if he went upstairs. But it was too late.
Above her head, she could hear the light footsteps of her master’s feet cross the room then stop. She could barely make out what the people were saying above her.
“You know you shouldn’t have gone against the Headmistress,” said a deep voice. “We knew you were stupid, but not that stupid.”
“I stand with my ideas,” said her master, almost robotically.
“Well I guess your ideas were a little bit too much for the Headmistress,” said another voice, a high-pitched and whiny one. “Now where’s the Puppet?”
“She’s not here. She left a month ago,” said her master, and Annik could hear the strain in his voice. She knew how much he hated not telling the truth, yet here he was, lying to keep her safe.
“Whatever. We’ll find her. It’s done now. The Headmistress figured you out, and all of your secrets ain’t secret anymore,” said the whiny one.
“Oh, I have many more secrets that you’ll never figure out.”
Annik could hear heavier footsteps approach where her master was.
“The Organization will find out,” said the deeper voiced man, and then there was silence.
Everything happened at once. As Annik tried getting closer to the low ceiling to hear better, and a loud thump met her ears. She could hear the other two men laughing and congratulating themselves as they walked away from her master’s body.
Annik stuffed her fist into her mouth, stifling a scream. Her heart felt torn in half: the man who had saved her and taught her everything he knew- was gone. Dead.
“No, no, no, no… please, it can’t be happening…”

Annik 3

More... finally.

Annik tried hard not to scream in frustration and helplessness. She paced back and forth, wearing a groove in the floor. Nobody spoke, and all you could hear was the footsteps on the wood floor, clicking and creaking quietly. Finally depleted of any energy to pace, Annik sat down in a corner away from the other Puppets. Lang slithered out of her bag and laid her head carefully on Annik’s neck. The air Puppet came over and put a hand on Annik’s shoulder.
“What’s your name?” she asked.
“Annik,” she replied, and moved away from the weight of her hand. The air Puppet just inched closer and gave Annik a small hug.
“I’m Katani. Katani Oru,” she said, quietly. “I’ve been in here for most of my life.”
Annik just stared in amazement.
“How can you stand this place? It’s awful to be in a building full of hate and fear…” Annik trailed off.
Katani was silent for a moment, then said, “I don’t know any better than this. I haven’t been outside of these walls since I was 3 years old. For me, all of this is normal.”

Kashi Side Character Profile

Kashi's a fire puppet.
He is somewhat like Nai in a way, but they both hate each other. He's the type of guy that likes to pickup fights and take the hard road. He's a tough apponent, almost as stong as Sebastian in an all out brawl- but not when it comes down to using their Elements. He's a real hothead when he's anrgy. So it's best to not bother him. He tries to not hurt kids or women, but only when it's necessary. He swears way to much. Also, even though he is hot (Lol)he tends to scare people away. Kashi likes to work alone when battling and will beat up anyone who gets in his way. He is just as active as Extreme, with exercising and all that work out. Very muscular and tall. He keeps fighting to fulfill a certain persons promise.

Kashi wears a black tank top with lots of chain necklaces, and one looks like a dog tag and another one looks like a collar, and another with a small cross. Has fingerless gloves with spiked bracelets. Earrings, pierced on his left eyebrow and a bandaid on the left side of his cheeks.
Dark blue baggy pants with a chain on the right side and one red suspender hanging lose on the left. He has chunky big white sneakers.
He's got brown hair with a blonde streak on the front.

Kashi's animal is a Porcupine. When turned into a weapon, it's knucklers with spikes. His Porcupine is named Mike. Mike listens to his master only when they are fighting an apponent worthy enough.

Kashi does not like people, and people do not like him. He never backs down on a fight and will never give up. He is always looking for a good fight.

The Fire That Never Lets Down.

Sorry...

Hey, sorry if we haven't been posting anything lately, but we're deciding how the heck we're going to synchronize all our characters and chapters into one book. And also, because the grind is getting to us, with all of the tests and projects going on (great...). Another thing is that someone, (cough cough Sabby) has to get in action and start writing about her 15+ characters.

So anyways, this is a tiny bit on Annik's part... enjoy!

As Kara was talking to her master, Annik was being placed in “her” room.
As soon as she stepped inside, she noticed the other Puppets sitting on the floor. They had a haunted, sad look in their eyes, just like the Puppets that watched her being taken to see Kara. Underneath their ragged clothes, she could see the glint of elemental tattoos. ‘Why are they here and haven’t escaped yet?’ Annik thought to herself. Then she saw the collars around their necks.
The collars were quite small and thin, but they glowed different colours. As Annik looked carefully she could see that the colours matched up with whatever element the Puppet had. Then she turned around and saw the two men approach her with Nathaniel holding a blue collar.
She yelped, and tried to run out of the room. The men blocked her way and started their work. While Drake tried to keep her still, Nathaniel snapped the band around her neck and fastened it with a tiny lock. They let her go and left, locking the door behind them.
Annik grabbed at the collar, trying to rip it off her neck. After realizing manual power wasn’t going to work, she tried to use her powers to yank it off.
“I wouldn’t try that if I were you,” said a small, soft voice. “Don’t you think we would’ve escaped by now if we could do that?”
She spun around and saw a girl with brown hair in shabby pigtails and intelligent hazel-green eyes. By the look of her white collar, Annik could tell she was an air Puppet.
“Just let me try,” Annik pleaded. “Maybe I’ll succeed.”
The air Puppet was about to say something, but another one motioned for her to stay quiet and let Annik try. Annik sighed in relief and turned her attention to the collar.
She closed her eyes and tried to extract the water from the damp corners of the room. Usually, the water came to her, but instead, she felt nothing. Slightly shocked, she attempted again, but once again nothing.
“Now you realize?” asked the air Puppet. “We’re stuck here, in these collars. Forever.”

Annik 2

Annik froze and looked straight in front of her. All she could see was a desk with a giant chair with the back facing towards her. She could imagine the face of the person sitting in the chair, and it was not pleasant. She thought of speaking, but remembered what Drake had said.
“Well,” said a velvety voice, and the chair turned around. There was a beautiful woman sitting in the chair, her long fingernails drumming on the arm of the chair.  She looked pretty, but in a very icy way. As she leaned forwards to take a better look at Annik, her eyes glittered with malice and her mouth pulled itself into a self-satisfied smile.

Sai Ethal Side Character Profile

Sai Ethal is another side character of mine.
He is a water Puppet.

Sai Ethal is one heck of a scaredy cat. He is afraid of almost any thing. Including his animal, element, water (his own element), other Puppets, Masters, high places, hyper people (Extreme), scary mean people (Nai?), dark people (Sebastian), The Organization, dark places, sharp weapon (his own weapon?), strong people, fighting, and a lot of other things but it's to much to explain.
Sai is also one to rely on other people, if he has anyone to rely on that is. He is usually alone because he is known as a "Useless Puppet" since he's afraid of a lot of things. But what people don't know is that he is actually a good fighter when he's in deep trouble- but only if there's no one besides him there.
Sai doesn't have any friends, but wants one. Only problem is that he doesn't trust anyone.

Sai wears a big white long sleeve shirt, the sleeves are a bit too long. Along with dark blue pants and 1 cat slipper (and the other foot bare). He's got really messy white hair, with one hair sticking out from the top of his head. His eyes are not really regular eyes, but, it's sort of like white circle eyes, his eyes are always sad looking.

His animal is a cat (Scaredy Cat). He doesn't use his cat that often but only when he feels like it. His cat is white and when turned it to a weapon, it's multiple mini daggers. He's got a great aim but doesn't realize it.

The water that's calming but causes trouble.

Piko Organization Side Character

Piko, another Side Character, except that she's part of the Evil Organization.

She is an Earth 'Fuppet'

Piko is a "Fuppet" which is known as a Fake Puppet created by the "Head" of The Organization.
Piko is only 8 years old but is already a highly trained Assassin. She was born and raised in the Organization. Trained day in and day out to be reckless and heartless. But that changes a bit when she meets Extreme.
She has a LITTLE crush on Extreme, but does not let that bother her since 'Missions' is her top priority. Piko does not like being ignored by others. Especially when she's not in a good mood. She doesn't like it when someone doesn't tell her what's going on or when they keep secrets from her.

She wears a big black coat that covers most of her body and black combat boots. She wears black shorts but you can't see it because of the coat. The sleeves are longer that her arms, and the coat covers part of her mouth/chin.
She's got long blond high pigtails held in place by feather like clips. Coal black eyes.

Her animal is still unknown.

The Earth that cracks under you and brings you down to Hell.

Annik 1

Adding to the sort of chapter with Annik...

<Annik!> hissed Lang. Annik started, and looked over at Lang, who was coiled at the window. It was just the beginning of dawn, when sunlight starts to creep over the horizon.
“What is it?” Annik asked. “Are we where they’re taking us?”
<I think so> Lang said, and slithered back to Annik. She coiled around her arm and gripped tightly. Most people would think that she was going to hurt them, but to Annik it was comforting to feel her friend’s weight. She huddled herself into the corner and waited for the door to open.

Renita and Piko 2

I walked along the pathway, and came across some footprints. I kneeled on the ground, and examined them closely. They seemed fresh, and I could distinguish 5 different sets of footprints. I smiled slightly and pulled my hood over my head. They were so close! “This is going to be over very soon,” I muttered to Lyenta. She opened one eye, and seemed to grin in response.
I was just about to set off in the trace of the footprints when my amulet started glowing. I cursed under my breath and looked around. No one was near, and I pressed the small button in the back of the amulet.
“Yes, master?” I asked, hoping to be let off soon.
“How far have you gotten?” inquired a voice. I realized it belonged to Kara Violet Hikari, the leader who was in charge of my section of the Organization. I never really liked her, but I respected her. She was a perfect leader for the Organization; she was ruthless, clever, and will take advantage of every situation.
“I found some footprints,” I replied. “They are very close.”
“Good,” snapped Kara. “The Head is getting impatient for that book,” she said, and I could hear the smallest tinge of fear in her voice. I was not surprised, I have heard a lot of rumours about his cruelty.
“I sent Piko the other way,” I said, hoping she wouldn’t blow up at me. “She was getting in my way, and it move around faster without that little Puppet.”
“Fine,” said Kara. “I’ll contact her to tell her that you found the Puppets.”
“Do you have to do that? I really don’t like-“ I said, and was cut off by Kara.
“Now get going!” yelled Kara, and I winced a little. I was about to say, “I was, but you interrupted me,” but I knew better then that.
The amulet went dark in my hands. I knew I had wasted at least 2 minutes talking to Kara, and that’s a lot of time when you’re hunting someone. Every minute is precious when it comes to this mission.
Jogging along side the road, I made sure I didn’t meet up with anyone, or lost sight of the footprints. Lyenta flew off my shoulder and went ahead of me, keeping her sharp eyes out for the group of Puppets.
I don’t need anyone, especially not Piko. If they just let me go by myself, I probably would’ve found them sooner!
I remember something that my trainer had told me the day he set me aside. That was the day that he died, after he faced the Head and told him to help me. He told me these words, to help me remember who I am.
I am a loner. I am the predator, and the others are prey. I’m the snowy owl, dweller of the night. And with those words ringing in my head, I set out to hunt down the Puppets.

Puppetmaster Graveyard and Organization

Puppetmaster Graveyard
This is a long part, and will be the body of the Puppetmaster story. If you have the time, you can read the whole thing.

Annik had a very uneasy feeling about going into the graveyard. Ever since she sent Lang in there, she felt worried about what could’ve happened to her, and what might happen to all of them. There was something wrong about it that seemed to disturb her. She couldn’t quite place it, but there was just something about it, and it wasn’t just that it might belong to the Organization…
Nai broke her thoughts with a loud “Stop daydreaming and let’s get going!” Nai was always impatient to leave, especially if there was something important to do. “We need to go. NOW!”
Annik stuck her tongue at Nai and started after the rest of the group. Not one of them noticed the figure in black watching them enter the mist-filled graveyard.
The band of Puppets made their way through the maze of deteriorating headstones, constantly trying to avoid tripping over roots that seemed to grab at their shoes. Annik stopped to look at one interesting gravestone. The dirt covering the place where the coffin was buried was recently disturbed, as if something had dug in…. or out, she thought to herself, sending a quick shiver down her spine. She shook off that thought and straightened out. It was only when she looked around when she realized she was left behind.
“Hey, guys, wait up! You forgot me back here!” she yelled, looking around her. “Guys? This isn’t funny!” she exclaimed, trying to make herself heard. “Nai? Extreme? Liera? Sebastian?” she called out, but the only things that responded were the huge black crows sitting in the skeletal trees, cackling and crowing at the sight of a lost Puppet.
Suddenly, the crows went silent. The mist seemed to thicken all around Annik, until she was almost choking on it, barely able to take a breath. She tried to create a water light, but her hands were shaking so much that the light was extinguished. Her heart seemed it would leap out of her chest, and she felt frozen to the ground. ’What is happening?’ she thought to herself.
All she saw before she slipped into oblivion was a rotting face leering at her.

Renita and Piko 1

This is a part right after Renita and Piko are sent out to find the group of Puppets and kill them. Renita is not happy at all about having to work with an eight year old.

“One down, two to go,” I muttered to myself. I was busy practicing a throwing technique in the small courtyard behind the small inn. I had already dispatched one of the dummies and was ready to throw another dagger at the second one when a voice rang in the night air.
“Renita!” shouted Piko, running over to where I had set up the three dummies. She didn’t seem fazed about the one on the ground that was totally mutilated now. I was annoyed; she just messed up my concentration.
“What?!” I growled, and threw a dagger very close to her head. She didn’t even flinch.
“We need to get going,” Piko said, puling her coat closer around her small body. For some reason, everyone found that very cute, and she knew it. It just annoyed me to hell.
“You can’t tell me what to do! I’m 11 years your senior and you’re only freaking eight years old!” I exclaimed, throwing another dagger at her. This time, she caught it just before it hit her arm.
“We have to get going if we’re going to catch up with these goody-two-shoe Puppets. Otherwise, the masters will be very displeased,” Piko insisted.
God, having to work with someone is bad enough, but someone that knows I would do anything to please our masters?
I gave Piko a death stare and said, “Fine. But next time you bother me, I’ll get this dagger right into your little heart.”
She just gave me a cherubic smile and walked through the back door of the inn. I watched her leave, and paused for a moment.
I looked up into the sky and brushed a strand of black and white hair away from my face. There was no moon or stars. Just pure darkness. “Perfect,” I said, and threw my second dagger. It hit the dummy right where the heart would be.

I woke up on the ground with Piko standing over me.
“Get up!” she hissed. “It’s already past 10:00 in the morning!”
I jolted up, and gave her a glare. “What?! Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” I yelled at her, which woke Lyenta up. She gave me a very unhappy hoot. I scratched her on the head and placed her on my shoulder. She surveyed Piko with her amber eyes and then fell back asleep.
“It doesn’t matter that I didn’t wake you up, but it matters that we have to get going now!” Piko said.
“Ok, but we have to take the country path. No way am I going to go through the town square again!” I said, remembering the day before. I hate other people and Puppets. They’re so bratty, and they don’t know how easy they have it. They don’t have to worry about being threatened with torture, or satisfying masters. They don’t have to do things they don’t want to do. Yet they complain about such stupid things. Once the Organization has taken over, there’ll be no more of that, and I smiled.
“Fine, you can take that path and skulk in the shadows. I’m going through the town,” Piko said and promptly turned towards the busy square. I slipped into the shadows, where I knew I would be unnoticeable. I kept my eyes peeled for my targets. A girly-girl, a nerd, a tomboy, one of our spies and a hyper maniac. What other group would be able to have all of those Puppets in it except for the one I’m looking for? This was going to be too easy. I played with one of my daggers, twirling it and tossing it into the air.
Sooner or later, I’m going to make a kill.

Momo Side Character Profile

Momo is an old buddy of Extreme, one year older though. He is also a fire puppet as well.

Momo was always the one to be bullied about his girly name. But made it look like he never really mind it. Extreme was the only one to understand Momo when they first meet. Which was when they were at least 5 years old. Momo then became his best friend, until they got separated for unknown reasons.

Momo has long brown hair just above his shoulders. A blackish- purple hoodie with the sleeves cut off and fish net along his arms. He has black sweat pants and white and red shoes.
Momo likes to keep his animal features on. Like ears and a tail

His animal is a brown wolf. His name is Rufus. He is a bit bigger than a regular dog. And only listens to Momo and sometimes Extreme. He's got a collar on with a fire symbol on it.
Momo is just as hyper and strong as Extreme but more responsible. The weapon Rufus turns into is big long sharp claws.

The Wild Fire that protects all those who are important to it.

Liera Character Profile

Liera is not my character, one of my friends made her, but doesn't have an account. So I'm doing this for her.

Liera is a very bubbly person. She's very innocent and sweet. Likes to smile everyday, making everyone feel warm inside. That is why she is an Air Puppet. She likes to rest on her own little cloud nine.

Liera wears a big light pink dress (She loves pretty things) and a baby blue ribbon on it. A deeper shade of pink for her shoes with high white socks. Also, it may seem weird, but she wears bunny ears on her head. No one knows about it, she just wears it like it's actually a part of her.

Her animal is a pink bunny with a blue ribbon on one of its ear. Her bunny also wears a light pink dress, except it looks like it was made for a doll. The Device it turns into is still unknown to use. So wait until we figure it out.

The Air that lifts you off your feet when you're feeling down.

Sebastian Character Profile

Sebastian is one of the rare Dark Puppets.
He's at least 18-19 years old. (Well, that's what he thinks because he doesn't know anything about his past life.)
Sebastian is known as a mute since he doesn't talk at all, not even to his friends. So he uses a tablet to communicate. Sebastian is also known as a loner. He only travels with the other Puppets for unknown reasons.

Sebastian wears a big black cape that covers mostly all of his body. Under the cape is a black baggy tank top, black pants that's a bit rolled up, and black combat boots. He also has black gloves.
Sebastian has coal black hair, and piercing Sapphire blue eyes, but when he turns serious in a battle (but that's a bit rare since he's one of the best fighters and doesn't even crack a sweat while fighting) his eyes turn blood red like a crow.

His animal is a small crow named Tobi. Even though he's small, he turns into a big Scythe. But most of the time Sebastian doesn't even need him since he's fine on his own. Tobi likes to take naps on his owners head.
Silent but most deadly. Sebastian will not lose to anyone in a fight.

Dark as a shadow, but will always stay by your side.

Katani Oru and Renita Profiles

Katani Oru and Renita are my two side characters. Some of us (cough cough Sab) made at least six side characters, which is a lot. Quite frankly, I think it's a little too much.

My first side character, Katani Oru, is a good Puppet. She is an air Puppet, and her animal is a butterfly named Klee. In battle-mode, Klee turns into a bladed fan. Katani is the same age as Extreme, but she's pretty much the complete opposite of him. She's very quiet, and likes to stay out of the main action. She's smart with numbers, but she doesn't show off or use that skill very often.
She has light brown hair in pigtails, hazel-green eyes, and usually wears very preppy clothes.

My second side character is Renita. I talked a little about her in the history of the Organization, but here's a little more info. She's a fake Puppet (or as Ketchupman calls them, "fuppets") who's in the Organization. She has no element, but is really trained in fighting with daggers and poisoning. She has a snowy owl named Lyenta who can change into a dagger, but Renita doesn't need her to. Renita has long black hair with white streaks that's usually in a ponytail and pale purple eyes. She usually wears a black hoodie, black pants, combat boots and a belt with a dagger and a pouch. She also has at least one dagger in each boot. She likes to be hidden, and will try to blend in and stalk her victim. She's a loner, but is always eager to please her masters.
With all of the torturing she had to go through, she's very tough and bitter against the good Puppets. Renita always feel like the good Puppets "have it easy" with life, and she wants to end the "goody-two-shoe" Puppetmaster.
