Jamie and Syelina 2

Yay! More posted up... don't worry, there's plenty more where this is coming from (7 typed pages and counting)

Two slow, long weeks passed, and she was happy when the day came. She paced around waiting for the perfect time to approach Kuro with her plan and finish it off once and for all. At 2:00 p.m., she had had enough waiting and knocked on Kuro’s door.
“Come in,” drawled Kuro, and the doors creaked open. Syelina walked in, her head held in a dignified pose. Kuro just kicked his feet up onto his desk, watching her compose her face, though he could feel her anxiousness and excitement. He smiled wolfishly at the air mistress.
“So I hear that you have the King of the Dead in one of your cells,” she said, slightly rocking back and forth on her feet in nervous excitement. “Are you…planning to do anything to get rid of him? He might make trouble for you later…”
Kuro smiled. “You make it too obvious what you want,” he said dryly. Syelina’s face blanched and the calm composure left her. “But very well. One favour in turn for another. What do you have in return?”
It was Syelina’s turn to smile. She leaned in towards Kuro and whispered, “I know where that blue Puppet is.”
Kuro’s eyes flashed and he pulled his feet off the desk. “What?! You’ve been here for two weeks and you haven’t told anyone!”
“I’ve been waiting for the perfect time. Now do you accept?” she asked, extending her hand.
“I need to talk to the Head first…”
“No!” screeched Syelina, panic rising in her chest. “If you do that, I’ll call off the deal. Understand?” she said desperately. She knew if he contacted the Head, it would be game over to her and her plan.
Kuro strummed his fingers on the desk, weighing the options. But he was much smarter then Syelina had given credit to him for. ‘I might jeopardize my position if I make such an important move like this if I don’t tell the Head, yet we might be able to find the blue Puppet and get rid of the traitor at the same time…’ he thought, while Syelina stood in front of him, fidgeting nervously. Kuro came to his decision, but decided to have a little fun with it.
“I’ll think about it,” said Kuro and snapped his fingers. Soldiers came into the den and surrounded Syelina. She realized what was happening and tried to fight her way out of the room, but it was too late. They restrained her with vortex built shackles, sucking out her powers so she wouldn’t be able to defend herself.
“Why are you doing this?!” she shrieked at them, twisting and turning with all her might.
“Just so you’ll behave while I decide. Besides, who knows what you’ll do on your own?” Kuro replied in a bored voice. He motioned for the closest soldier to approach, and Kuro whispered into his ear, “Put her in the same cell as him. It’ll be easier for all of us.”
The soldier looked a little confused, but he straightened up and shrugged his shoulders. Besides, an order was an order.
He shouted an order to the rest of the group, and they marched down to the cells.
“You’ll pay for this, Kuro! You and all of the Organization!” echoed Syelina’s voice down the hallway.
“Oh I doubt it, my dear,” he chuckled to himself. “You and that traitor will probably kill each other off before you even get a finger on us.”
